Our Story

As a child I wanted to marry a great guy, have children, get a great job and serve others. Well 3 out of 4 happened. My story is just like so many women in the world especially women of color. I lost my precious child to an on call doctor who had no concern for my health and because of that my unborn child and myself paid the ultimate price. So I’ve dedicated my life’s work from then on to advocating for those who are pregnant, making sure that they get adequate prenatal care, proper birthing outcomes and a successful postpartum transition. I love what I do, It wasn’t until I started working in law and public health that I realized the real disparities among those who couldn’t afford healthcare insurance, proper healthcare services and basic needs that I decided this is truly my calling. Those are your rights! I’m here to help you get them.

By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. John 13:35
